Agadir, a city located on Morocco's southern Atlantic coast in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, is the capital of the Agadir Ida-Outanane province. This seaside resort is renowned for its golf courses, wide crescent-shaped beach, and seafront promenade lined with cafes, restaurants, and bars. Perched on a hill, the Kasbah of Agadir was destroyed in an earthquake in 1960, but its original walls still stand.
